Police are still looking for a second person who they say was involved in the first robbery on Nov. 26.

After the first incident, police said Usman went on to rob multiple other spas alone.

There are several charges the alleged robber is facing, including assault, rape and attempted murder.

All four robberies happened within about a week of each other.

Louis Marte owns a barbershop which neighbors one of the robbed spas.

He said he first found out about it after seeing police outside.

“There’s a lot of bad people doing things outside. You never know who’s who,” Marte said.

Marte said after a certain time, he doesn’t allow walk-ins.

“You’ll find the door locked. After 8 o’clock, I always lock my door. When I see people pass by often, I lock my door,” Marte said.

NY1 spoke with employees at two businesses that were robbed who both declined to comment.

In some of the attacks, police said Usman sexually assaulted multiple women.

In one of the incidents, police said the suspect fired a gun inside one of the spas.

A man who was in the next room was shot. He is in critical condition.
