The man arrested nearly two years after the shooting death of 11-month-old Dior Harris has been indicted on several charges in relation to her murder, according to the Onondaga County district attorney's office.
Jesse Outley, 26, was arrested in February and now has been indicted on several changes, including second-degree murder, second-degree attempted murder and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, according to the DA.
Harris was shot in a drive-by shooting while sitting in a car on Grant Avenue in Syracuse in April 2021. Her death triggered an emotional response from community members, local leaders and law enforcement.
Another man, 23-year-old Chavez Ocasio, was arrested in 2021 for her death. He originally pleaded not guilty to several charges, including second-degree murder, before accepting a plea deal for two lesser charges in February 2023.
