Hip-Hop was born in New York City, and a festival celebrating the genre made its debut in Queens this weekend.
Organizers said 60,000 fans sold out the two day Rolling Loud festival at Citi Field.
It's the first time the music event has come to New York City; it started in Miami and is also hosted in cities in California.
Those in attendance were excited to hear some of their favorite artists, while enjoying the amenities Citi Field has to offer.
Famous artists who performed include Travis Scott, ASAP Rocky, Meek Mill and Jim Jones, who is from Harlem.
"I'm here for the spirit of New York,” Jones said. “Shout outs to Rolling Loud, they do it all over the country and me, myself have done a few of them so far."
There was a bit of confusion at the festival because the NYPD removed several performers from the lineup due to prior arrests including rappers Casanova and Pop Smoke, both of whom are from Brooklyn.
