NEW YORK - A Lyft driver in Queens who was attacked by a passenger who thought he was going too slow is speaking out.
The entire incident was caught on camera.
The video was recorded last Thursday inside Eduardo Madiedo's car.
He says he picked up a woman and a man headed to Mt. Sinai Hospital in Queens.
The driver says a few minutes into the ride, the passengers ordered him to go faster and made vulgar comments when he said he couldn't go around the traffic.
That's when Madiedo was attacked.
"I was trying to block and deflect what he was doing while still trying to maintain control of the car and not trying to get into an accident," said Madiedo. "I felt like maybe he was going to attack me with a weapon or something."
The passengers eventually got out of the car and walked away.
The driver was not seriously hurt.
Police are investigating the attack and trying to track down the passengers.
