QUEENS, N.Y. - Police in Queens have arrested the driver who struck and killed a woman Tuesday as she crossed the street.

Mark Dudzinski, 58, of Queens is charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian.

Investigators say he hit Waiching Chen, 74, of Queens as she crossed the street at 159th Avenue and Cross Bay Boulevard in Howard Beach around 4 p.m.

Chen was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Dudzinski stayed at the scene after the crash.
