A man from Queens and a woman from Long Island are in the money — thanks to some big lottery wins.

New York Lottery Host Yolanda Vega handed out big checks to two lucky lottery winners Tuesday at Resorts World Casino.

Southeast Queens resident Imran Mohammed won a net prize of over five million dollars through the ten thousand dollars a week for life scratch off.

Leelawatie Pittam is taking home over one point five million dollars after winning a fifty times the money scratch off ticket.

"I scratched it and I see that I'm the winner. I grabbed the clerk. I gave him a bear hug and I showed him the ticket and I ran home," said Imran. 

Mohammed says he plans to buy a new home and a sports car.

Pittam says she will retire from one of her three jobs and take her kids to Disney World.
