Ridgewood is at the top of a list of Queens neighborhoods that are the most walkable.

Curbed NY took a look at each borough's neighborhoods and compiled "Walk Scores" for each one.

The scores were compiled using data on residents' access to the subway, bus networks, and the availability of pedestrian-friendly areas.

Ridgewood's green space and proximity to the M and L trains, as well as several bus lines gave it a walk score of 95 out of 100.

Residents we spoke with said they were not surprised.

"So many resources within a few blocks…We have like five grocery stores here, restaurants, it is just a really great place to live if you don't have a car," said one woman.

"It is just really easy to get around here and there are a ton of things to do in walking distance," said another woman.

While Ridgewood's walk score was high, the neighborhood only had a bike score of 57 out of 100.

That score was attributed to the fact the neighborhood only has two NYC DOT designated bike lanes.
