NATIONWIDE — Radio Flyer has ventured into a galaxy far, far away.
- Luke Skywalker's Landspeeer: $499
- Modeled after X-34 craft from "A New Hope"
- Can carry up to 2 riders
The company revealed at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday its newest ride for kids: Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder.
The motorized vehicle is modeled after the X-34 craft from “Star Wars: A New Hope.” It features an interactive dashboard with lights and seats for two riders (up to 130 pounds).
The battery-powered Landspeeder doesn’t actually hover, but rather moves on wheels. It can go 2 mph to 5 mph forward and 2 mph in reverse. The 12V rechargeable battery can last up to five hours on a single charge.
The Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder is available to preorder now through Toys 'R' Us for $499. It will be available Sept. 5.
