Public School students throughout the borough had the opportunity display their artwork at the Queens Museum.
It's part of the museum's 3rd annual borough arts festival.
The exhibition includes 110 pieces and an installation piece that features a 4-minute short film.
Students from P-S 102 rushed to see which of their pieces were in the exhibit.
One of them says the inspiration for her piece comes from nature.
"We had to choose a spirit animal who matches our personality and I chose an owl because it was a solo worker," said student Valerie Budiman.
"They are so important to motivate and give them an opportunity to tell their own story," Nina Lasky, Borough Arts Director - South Queens.
The exhibit will be on display until Sunday.
