Forest Hills residents join each other around the table for a celebration of diversity in food and culture.
Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church held it's 6th Annual "Taste of the World Festival" on Sunday.
Thirty two restaurants from around the neighborhood served up their specialties to more than 200 hungry people.
Organizers say they love to see their parishoners and neighbors gathered together to celebrate their different backgrounds.
"It's an opportunity for us as a parish to get together to celebrate our diversity, the various cultures we are of our neighborhood, the mosaic we are of our parish," said Father Francis Passenant.
"When you see everybody gathered together and having a wonderful time and the restaurants are enjoying serving their food, to me that's my reward, " added Volunteer Organizer Denise DeMaria.
The proceeds from the event will benefit Our Lady Queen of Martyrs.
