A basketball tournament was held in Elmhurst on Saturday to honor former NBA All-Star Kenny Anderson, who grew up in nearby LeFrak City.
The Lefrak City Tenants Association organized "Legendary Basketball Day," at John F. Kennedy Jr. High School.
The event was free, and some attendees even got to go home with a prize.
One lucky person won a basketball signed by the famous point guard.
Anderson played professionally for 15 years and spent the beginning of his career with the New Jersey Nets.
