JAMESTOWN, N.Y. -- Jamestown police have identified the man they say was shot and killed Thursday.

Officers say Obryan Ramos, 28, was shot multiple times while standing on the porch of a home on Prendergast Avenue. Investigators say the suspect came up from behind the house around 6 p.m. shot the man, and then ran away.

The victim died after being taken to WCA Hospital. Police believe Ramos was targeted and the incident may have stemmed from a dispute earlier in the day.Anyone with any information is asked to call Jamestown police at 716-483-7537.
