International Transgender Day of Visibility is celebrated on March 31.

It’s a day dedicated to acknowledging accomplishments of transgender people across the globe, while also raising awareness about the work that still needs to be done to combat discrimination and violence against the community.  

Marti Gould Cummings, a New York based drag artist, transgender activist and advocate, joined “News All Day” on Monday to talk more about it.
