PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — Glass was seen in the parking lot and on the curb as two of a Circle K's front window panels are destroyed after a car crashed into the store on 66th Avenue on Pinellas Park early Sunday morning.

  • Police are searching for the driver

The Pinellas Park police and fire departments both responded to the call after 1 a.m.

Police confirm a woman driving a dark-colored Scion crashed through the front of the store and drove off, eastbound on 82nd Avenue.

Authorities only stated that the driver was blonde and did not give any more description of her.

Officers were not able to locate her right away and are planning to review surveillance footage on Sunday for a better look. They say the vehicle would likely have damage.

Meanwhile, the building was inspected and is deemed structurally sound.

Anyone with information should contact the Pinellas Park Police Department at 1-727-369-7864.
