The Greater Johnstown School District announced it will not have any high-risk winter sports.
The district says this is in line with Fulton County's requirement to have a seven-day rolling average under 4%.
According to the state department of health, the Fulton County seven-day positivity rate is 8.4%.
Like other schools that have opted out, the superintendent in Johnstown says keeping schools safe for students to learn is the top priority.
The school is still offering low-risk sports, including skiing, bowling, and swimming, for the winter.
