Shakespeare in Delaware Park is celebrating its 50th anniversary this summer with two main stage productions at the park, as well as a touring production.
Among the highlights this season are "Twelfth Night," which takes the stage June 19 through July 13 and "Richard III," which will be performed July 24 through Aug. 17.
There will also be a touring production at venues across Western New York of "Romeo and Juliet" from June 11 through Aug. 18.
“As we celebrate 50 years of free Shakespeare, we are not only honoring our rich history but embracing our future,” says Lisa Ludwig, executive director. “This season is a heartfelt thank-you to our community — as we mark five decades of laughter, drama and unforgettable summer nights together.”
All performances are free and open to the public. For complete performance schedules and venue information, visit shakespeareindelawarepark.org.
