Ka Makana Alii excitedly announced the state’s first everbowl (styled without a capital letter) is opening at the West Oahu mall on Saturday, April 19. Everbowl will also be giving out free acai bowls during the grand opening from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Established in 2016 in Southern California, everbowl is a chain of eateries that aims to reinvent fast food as it serves açaí bowls; smoothies featuring pitaya, vanilla, coconut, chia pudding, cacao; avocado and peanut butter toasts; gluten-free snacks; and more treats made from superfoods, according to a news release. 

“We chose Ka Makana Ali‘i because it’s home — it’s where our community is,” said everbowl owner Angela Padilla in a statement. “We’re here all the time, popping into Foodland Farms, going to Orangetheory Fitness, or browsing the various shops. It didn’t take long to see that something was missing: a healthy, quick option like an açaí bowl or smoothie for people after a workout or a stroll through the mall. With ample parking, the mix of great businesses, and its sweet spot between Kapolei and Ewa Beach — Ka Makana Ali‘i just felt right for us and for everyone who calls this area home. It's the perfect location!”

The 1,000-square-foot eatery will be in the Macy’s wing of the mall next to Papa John’s Pizza. 

The grand opening of everbowl on Saturday, April 19, will include a family-friendly event from 12 to 3 p.m. and a blessing at 11:30 a.m. Everbowl will be open on Easter Sunday, April 20, with Easter eggs and bounce back coupons for guests. 

Ka Makana Alii’s newest eatery will be open daily, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
