With Valentine's shopping and planning well underway in the city, one downtown arts curator is offering a different take on the holiday. With new art exhibit "Love Hurts, Yeah Yeah," curator Maureen Sullivan chatted with Stephanie Simon on "News All Day" to discuss the gallery and some of its featured pieces.

The gallery has about 20 works by top artists on view inside the vintage shop Quality Mending on Bowery.

A reception will be held on Friday, February 11 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The reception is open to the public and the exhibit runs through Valentine's Day.
