More than 300 city demonstrators given summonses for curfew violations are now getting a break.

It all stems from a large protest in Mott Haven on June 4th over the killing of George Floyd.

Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark says she'll move to dismiss the summonses.

She says with courts trying to limit in-person appearances because of the pandemic -- it serves no purpose to summon hundreds of people to the courthouse for low-level violations.

Her office is moving forward with prosecutions of serious offenses like burglary, looting and assault related to protesting.

The motion to dismiss will be filed Thursday.
