People who are facing an uncertain financial future because of Coronavirus now have one more place to turn.
The Hebrew Free Loan Society offers zero interest loans of up to $5,000 to people impacted by the virus.
Those who need the help can submit an application and must show a government ID.
You also need to list someone who will pay the loan back if you are unable to do so.
The 128-year-old Manhattan organization is also offering larger loans for people with large medical expenses as well as small businesses.
"I think everybody needs to believe that they will make it through the next period and that there are people who have their back," said Rabbi David Rosenn.
Applicants will have a three month grace period before they need to start repaying the loan.
There is an income cap in place depending on the size of your household.
