NEW YORK - Police are investigating the deadly stabbing of a bodega worker Wednesday night in upper Manhattan.

It happened around 8 p.m. at the Dyckman Kwik Stop bodega located at 201 Dyckman Street in Inwood.

Investigators say Mohamed Nasser Awawdah was stabbed in the chest after he walked out of the store to ask a group of men to leave.

He was taken to the hospital where he died.
