Another day, another NYPD Animal Encounter in the concrete jungle.
This time in Manhattan, officers from the 20th precinct were called in to rescue a goose.
The big bird was limping with an injured leg on the second floor terrace of a building on West 75th street, where real estate agent, Jason Haber, was preparing for an open house on Saturday Morning.
A family noticed the bird from their building across the way, and brought the animal food while Haber worked to call in back up.
Two officers came with special gear to carefully load the goose into a crate, Haber said.
The goose, seems to be getting along swimmingly with other birds of a feather at the Wild Bird Fund.
The NYPD says no fowl play is suspected.
