CAROLINA BEACH, N.C. -- More than 3,000 people from all around the country were in Carolina Beach Saturday to soak in some sun and enjoy live beach music.

It’s an annual event that has been going strong for 33 years. This year's acts included local favorites like The Band of OZ, Blackwater Rhythm & Blues and Jim Quick and the Coastline Band.
Tourists said it’s a fun experience for people of all ages.
“I am in heaven! I think I hit the jackpot today. The weather, the beach, the people, the music, it’s awesome,” said Debbie Bourdeau.
The festival was recently named one of Travel Channel’s Top 10 Beach Festivals in the United States.
