There are several service changes in effect at Penn Station as Amtrak started its second phase of repair work Monday.
The Long Island Rail Road and New Jersey Transit are rerouting some trains.
Amtrak has also cancelled Northeast Regional Trains 110 from Washington, D.C. Penn Station and Northeast Regional Trains 127 from the station and Washington.
The services changes come as work is done to replace aging equipment at the transit hub.
Amtrak has said that the bulk of the work will be done on weekends, with an expected completion date of May 28.
The first phase of track repair work happened last summer, when multiple tracks were shut down for a few months.
