With winter around the corner and temperatures starting to drop, New Yorkers are trading their roller blades for ice skates.
Wollman Rink opened Saturday for the first time this season.
Skaters say they're happy to shake off some rust.
"We haven't skated for quite a while so it's going to be interesting here," said one woman.
"It's good, it's alright. It's my first time actually skating but I found it really fun. Just need a little more training. More experience," said one man.
I love that it's outdoors. I think it's a lot better than being in indoor rinks because you can be in nature," said another woman.
"It's a big rink and we get to go around a lot of times," said one young woman.
