A nonprofit agency working to fill gaps in veterinary service will move to a new location at the end of this week.

Rochester Emergency Veterinary Services on University Avenue in Rochester is moving to West Commercial Street in East Rochester. The new location has been renovated and includes two new surgical suites. The agency previously said four new full-time veterinarians were being hired to help staff the location.

REVS will hold a grand opening on Friday. It will keep its current hours of 7 p.m.-7 a.m. on weekdays and will be open 24 hours on weekends.

Rochester Emergency Veterinary Services opened in February 2024 following the closure of Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Services in Brighton in November 2023.
