A new art exhibit opened at Rockefeller Center Saturday, showcasing New Yorkers' love for their city amid the pandemic.

The "Flag Project" is a public art installation where artists from all over the boroughs — including Jeff Koons and Christian Siriano — were asked to submit artwork celebrating our diverse culture, vibrant energy and resiliency.

At the start of the pandemic, real estate company Tishman Speyer asked New Yorkers to submit artwork celebrating the city they call home and the winning designs were turned into 193 8-by-5-foot flags flown high above the Rockefeller Center ice rink.

The exhibit is free and on display until August 16.

For most of the year, the flags surrounding the rink at Rockefeller Center represent the nations recognized by the United Nations.
