Southbound 2 and 3 train service between Manhattan and Brooklyn was suspended Tuesday morning after a person was struck by a train at Borough Hall, officials said.
As an alternative, some 2 trains are operating on the 5 line between Nevins Street and 149th Street-Grand Concourse. Additionally, the last stop for some southbound 2 and 3 trains has been changed to Rector Street on the 1 line.
To provide local service in Brooklyn, some southbound 4 and 5 trains are running local from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to Franklin Avenue-Medgar Evers College, officials said.
For travel between Brooklyn and Manhattan, riders are advised to use 4, 5, N, Q or R trains.
No further details were immediately available about the condition of the person struck.
