After more than a decade of delays, the World Trade Center Transportation Hub is almost ready for business.
Transit officials say the soaring structure will open March 3, as will a new PATH entrance at the corner of Liberty and Church streets.
Entrances near the Fulton Street Transit Center and at the corner of Church and Vesey streets will open later in the spring.
Officials say the hub, known as the "Oculus," will be the city's most integrated network of mass transit connections. It will eventually connect 11 subway lines.
Mall shops and restaurants are will also eventually open as part of the hub.
The project cost more than $4 billion.
