Country music star Chely Wright is making a new name for herself as a corporate executive.

Wright is prioritizing diversity when various companies are rolling back on DEI initiatives.

She recently announced her new role as senior vice president of social responsibility at the workplace experience company, ISS North America. This role is a personal mission for Wright, who became one of the first major country music stars to come out as gay in 2010.

Chely Wright joined “The Rush Hour” on Wednesday to discuss her new role, and why she says it’s good business for companies to encourage diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.
