STAMFORD, Ct. - Louisville Cardinal fans or fans of any Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) teams for that matter, can rest easy. You will be able to see your favorite team in action when the ACC Network launches August 22.
Charter Communications, the parent company of Spectrum, agreed to carry the network Wednesday. The move is part of a larger, more comprehensive multi-year carriage deal between Charter and The Walt Disney Company, the parent company of sports network ESPN.
ESPN partnered with the ACC to create the ACC network.
The deal includes carriage of Disney's other networks including FX and Nat Geo.
In addition to Louisville, the ACC is made up of Boston College, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina, NC State, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
The exact channel the ACC Network will reside on in Louisville and throughout Kentucky, hasn't been determined yet.
