Gov. Kathy Hochul and her husband, William Hochul, raked in nearly $1.5 million last year, according to the couple's joint tax returns released Tuesday.
The pair reported a combined income of $1,479,244 — down from about $1.9 million last year.
Hochul made nearly $260,000 from her government salary as the state's chief executive, or a total of $259,804.
William Hochul made $949,946 from his position at law firm Davis Polk. He also drew $96,773 in deferred payments from hospitality company Delaware North — the first gentleman's previous company that provides food services at the Buffalo Bills' Highmark Stadium.
The first gentleman collected $47,733 in pension funds from his former role as a federal prosecutor in the Western District of New York.
The Hochuls' taxes show the couple received $43,724 in dividends and $70,047 in interest — up from $18,756 in interest last year. They donated $87,883 to charities.
The couple paid a combined $535,609 in state and federal taxes.
