Part of the Passover tradition for Jewish families includes the Haggadah. That is the religious text that guides the Passover seder, which recounts the story of the Jews' liberation from enslavement in Egypt.
Usually in a booklet form, it helps to recreate the story of Passover and share its meaning to modern Jewish people.
Two music lovers, Author Meredith Ochs and illustrator Kay Miller, are bringing a contemporary spin, and sound, to the text in their new book, "The Rock ‘n’ Roll Haggadah, Your Guide to a Seder that Rocks." The book points to connections between the Seder and rock 'n' roll music.
Meredith and Kay spoke with NY1 anchor Rocco Vertuccio Sunday morning on "Weekends On 1."
