OXFORD, Ohio — Students, librarians and faculty at Miami University rallied Thurday in support of higher education.
They joined a nationwide day of action, calling attention to a number of concerns including increased workloads, funding cuts and legislative proposals they said could impact academics on campus.
Students have been meeting weekly to discuss the issue.
They've had meetings with the College Democrats of Ohio, and have been publishing articles in the student newspaper.
