ASHWAUBENON, Wis. — The 2025 NFL Draft is almost here, but there’s no time to rest for the people working to pull of the national-scale event.

“From a local community standpoint, really kind of putting the final touches and refinements to things like transportation and traffic management, parking plans, shuttles, ride shares, things of that nature are kind of first and foremost on our minds today,” Ashwaubenon Village Manager Joel Gregozeski said. “And then really just kind of refining the plan as we get closer to the Draft Day and being ready to make adjustments on the fly as the event comes to fruition.”

There are a lot of moving parts, but community leaders are trying to think ahead and be proacitve so the event goes off without a hitch.

Gregozeski said he hopes out-of-towners enjoy Ashwaubenon while they’re visiting. He said there’s going to be something for everyone at the draft, even non-football fans.

“Obviously, we are, what we call, in the heart of the draft,” Gregozeski said. “Even though the draft claims to be in Green Bay, much of the activities are right here in Ashwaubenon. As visitors come into our area, there is plenty to do from dining to food to other entertainment options within our sports and entertainment district.

"And then, the draft itself. The NFL Experience is in the Titletown District which is in Ashwaubenon, so meeting players, celebrities, doing all of the different types of activities that the NFL has planned and prepared for is going to be right here in the heart of Ashwaubenon and we’re excited for that.”
