WORCESTER, MA, - The Sophomore class of the Holy Cross football team got a ton of playing time last year, and when you look at the defense there were Sophomore's at almost every position.  The Crusaders have one week left of spring practice, then they have their spring game on Saturday April 12th at 3pm at Fitton Field.  The Sophomore class as well as the rest of the team has taken big steps this spring.  "For the defense we have  a returning entire class full of Sophomore's and Junior's,"  said SS Carlo Crocetti, "a bunch of young guys who got a ton of action last year, building on that executing not a lot of mental errors, stacking what we had last year into what we learn now this year.  Offensive wise we have some new cats over there, killing it learning more stuff building that chemistry it's looking really good for both sides."

"Spring ball is obviously going really well,"  said RB, Jayden Clerveaux, "we're growing as a team, we have some young guys, but the young guys are evolving, guys in my grade the Sophomore class turning into Juniors we're evolving as well.  We also have some Seniors that are stepping into leadership roles."
