LICKING COUNTY, Ohio — Communities are reeling after tornadoes and strong winds ripped through the state.

The National Weather Service confirmed an EF1 tornado ripped through Licking County.
Harmony Church Road was among the hardest-hit areas.
According to NWS, it started in Delaware County before making it to Licking County just north of Johnstown.
Strong winds ripped off siding on homes and a church. It caused several downed trees.
Chris Lucas said he wasn’t home when it happened, but his family was.
"From what my wife described, it sounded like a train coming through," he said. "The house started to shake. She jumped on my son. And thankfully, everything worked out fine. They're fine. But, as you can see, it kind of took the part of the roof, and we used to have a playset here for my son that got deposited in my garage and then up and over the house into the front yard.”
According to Licking County Emergency Management, no one was injured in Licking County.
