A Brooklyn man is facing a hate crime charge after police say he harassed a group of Jewish people outside a synagogue over the weekend.

Danial Shaukat is being charged with aggravated harassment as a hate crime.

Authorities say he's one of two men seen in surveillance video from Saturday.

Video shows them approach someone on the street outside the Agudath Israel Synagogue on 16th Ave. in Borough Park.

Police believe the same men may also be responsible for another possible hate crime.

Two teenagers were assaulted in Brooklyn on Saturday.

Investigators say two men approached the teens on Ocean Parkway in Kensington and asked them to repeat anti-Semitic phrases.

When they refused, police say the men punched and choked the teens, then took off in a car.
