MANTEO, N.C. -- Sonja Sohn was arrested in Manteo after midnight Sunday on drug charges.

• "The Chi" actress was cited for felony possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia, according to the Dare County Sheriff's Office.
• Officials say the drugs were allegedly found in the actress's purse during a traffic stop.
• Sohn stars in "The Chi" as Laverne, and has also played Detective Shakima Greggs on "The Wire."

"The Chi" actress was cited for felony possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia, according to the Dare County Sheriff's Office.

Officials say the drugs were allegedly found in the actress's purse during a traffic stop.

She was released on a $1,500 bail and will be arraigned on Tuesday.

Sohn stars in "The Chi" as Laverne and has also played Detective Shakima Greggs on "The Wire."
