Inspired the words of Brooklyn's Notorious B.I.G, residents in the borough are painting a new mural to spread love, it's the brooklyn way.

Members of the community brought that message to life at the Atlantic Terminal on Fort Green Place on Saturday. The mall partnered with the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts, or MOCADA, to display the mural created by Patrick Dougher. The aim is to help build a more personal relationship with the community.

"When you contribute to a mural you're leaving a piece of yourself =, your leaving a mark in the neightborhood to sayI was here," said Amy Andrieux - Executive Director, MoCADA

The communal mural was all part of the shopping center's FamilyFest.
