A barber who has been working in one Brooklyn community for nearly six decades will give his last trim later this month.

Jack Skolnick will close up Jack's Hairstyling for Men (And Anyone Else Who Wants One).

The Brighton Beach native affectionately known as "Jack the Barber" opened his first shop on Brighton 13th Street in 1964.

In his near 60-year tenure, Skolnick says he gave filmmaker Darren Aronofsky his first haircut and has styled singer Neil Sadaka and Neil Diamond's parents.

Skolnick says he will miss the community.

"Everything was very pleasant in the neighborhood.  It served me well and I hoped I served the neighborhood well," he said.

Skolnick says once he officially retires at the end of the month, he plans to spend more time with his granddaughters.
