Some Brooklyn kids put their talents center stage to help their peers here at home and abroad.

The Third Annual Kids Rock For Kids Benefit Show was held Sunday at The Bell House in Gowanus.

Kid bands, dance troops, and comedians all performed to raise money for two charities dedicated to helping kids: CHiPS soup kitchen and shelter in Park Slope, and the Afghan Child Education and Care Organization, an orphanage in Kabul.

The concert started with a Skype performance by three girls from the orphanage in Afghanistan.

"I think it's very important to help the kids who need education and are actually putting their lives in danger to play at this concert tonight," said Milo Kiely-Miller, one of the young Brooklyn performers.

Last year the concert raised $5,000 for the two groups.
