The New York State Bar Association has compiled a list of some of the most interesting reasons given to commissioners of jurors as to why individuals could not serve and Kings County made the list.
Among them: "I used to be a felon."
One prospective juror came in wearing pajamas and said that she had 13 children and did not have time to get dressed.
Another prospect explained that he had undergone surgery on his hands and now limped as a result.
Up in Warren County, the commissioner of jurors says elderly twin women claimed that they could not be separated and went everywhere together.
