One Staten Island resident welcomed fellow art enthusiasts to her South Shore home on Sunday.
Fashion designer Regina Serecin held a flea market outside of her Tottenville home and invited other artists to sell their goods.
Items up for sale included everything from handmade jewelry and bags to original artwork.
More than a dozen people were able to set up shop at the market for free.
Serecin, who is just 21, said she decided to host the event after seeing vendor fees at other markets get more and more expensive.
"People don’t know your market and what your selling, you can end up losing money. So I didn’t want to lose money..I figured I could do it by myself and set up my own thing," said Serecin.
Serecin said she is hopes to host similar events in the near future.
