Time Out magazine is launching what it hopes will be a new hot spot for food and culture . It's called Time Out Market.

It's a food hall scheduled to open later this year on Water Street in DUMBO in the Empire Stores location. Here's a look at a similar market Time Out opened in Portugal in 2014. The Brooklyn location will take up two floors, it will feature about 20 food vendors all handpicked by Time Out editors. The market will also include three bars, an outdoor rooftop area and a space for artistic performances. Time Out plans to open similar markets in Miami, Boston and Chicago.
