There's a new push to change the way asbestos lawsuits are handled in New York and reform a system that critics say lets people double dip on settlements. If the company responsible for exposure is still in business, victims sue them directly. But many companies were bankrupted by lawsuits, and so they set up trusts for future payouts. And right now, a victim can sue one company for damages and also collect from a separate trust. We spoke with former Delaware judge Peggy Ableman about efforts to change that.
