The White House says it’s granting a 30-day extension to the MTA to turn off the congestion pricing cameras, but both Gov. Kathy Hochul and MTA Chair and CEO Janno Lieber have indicated the cameras will remain on pending court litigation.

“Things don’t change unless a court orders it, and that has not taken place. And we don’t expect it will because we’re on pretty strong legal footing,” Lieber said Wednesday. “We are very confident that there won’t be a rollback of congestion pricing.”

Long Island Republican State Assemblymember Jake Blumencranz joined “The Rush Hour” on Thursday to discuss a lawsuit he filed against the governor and the MTA to bring congestion pricing to an end.
