Police are searching for the gunman behind a double shooting in Chelsea that left one man dead and another injured.

Police say the two victims were standing next to the Fulton Houses at 19th Street and 9th Avenue around 10 p.m. Tuesday night when they were shot.

Kenneth Williams, 31, was shot in the abdomen and pronounced dead at the hospital. The other victim, a 27-year-old man, was shot in the arm and listed in stable condition.

According to police sources, the two victims were approached by another male who knew one of the victims.
