BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Broadway lovers are getting ready for the 90th anniversary of Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo.

The critically acclaimed musical "Finding Neverland" will launch its first national tour at Shea's in October as part of the theater's 2016-17 season. Thanks to a 25-percent state tax credit, the cast and crew will spend between three and four weeks building their production in the Queen City.

Shea's representatives say that will create dozens of jobs and have a big impact in the local economy.

"They will stay in our hotels, eat in our restaurants and they will hire local stagehands, local wardrobe, so it's a real opportunity for our community," said Albert Nocciolino, the producer of Shea's Broadway Series.
