Models strutted their stuff at a fashion show in the Bronx Saturday.
The event showcased clothes made by Bronx designers as well as artists from around the world.
Officials tell us about the influence the borough has had on the industry.
"People don't realize that so much fashion started in the Bronx. You have Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein were born and raised in the Bronx. You have fashion icons like the late Lauren Bacall. You have fashion icons like Jennifer Lopez," said Ed Garcia Conde, vice president of Bronx Fashion Week Marketing.
"I feel fantastic, like I can be myself. I can have fun," said model Fanta Camara.
The show was a part of a preview for the second annual Bronx Fashion Week - which will take place in September.
